Native Sons designs and handcrafts all its eyewear through a small team of skilled craftsmen and technicians at its headquarters in Sabae and Fukui City, Japan—regions with a rich history in eyewear production. Using traditional equipment, custom materials, and artisan techniques, they guide each design from sketch to finished product. Native Sons is known for its rich, unique colors, developed through months of experimentation. The brand exclusively uses custom Takiron cotton-based acetates, high-grade titanium with custom gold and silver plating, and Shima Optics lenses.
